Logging Truck SOLD
1985 GMC 3500 Logging Truck with 6.2 liter diesel engine, 7.25-16 10 ply radial tires, 30 foot hydraulic derrick, aluminum utility bed, tool racks, 5 KW gas generator, and computer rack. This unit has a 300 series steel drum (13,000' of 7/32" line capacity), an all hydraulic draw works with the controls inside the truck , and 8,000 feet of used 7/32" single conductor wireline presently installed. This versatile machine has run production logs and perforating services to 10,000 feet plus.

GO Logging Truck SOLD to Hotwell
Logging Truck, Gearhart-Owen Industries (GO) Model 250 "Prospector", Serial Number 250-134 (3/4 ton 1978 V8 4x4 Suburban Custom Deluxe repainted in February, 2004; new cooling system, shocks, steering pump, and exhaust in January, 2004, with low mileage tires and current inspection sticker). This unit spools 6,000 feet of 3/16" cable or 12,000 feet of 1/8" cable, and presently has 900 feet of 7 conductor cable installed. The Model 250 hoist develops over 24 hp from the truck engine through an open-loop hydraulic system. The hoist could easily be mounted in a newer truck, but the present truck has much useful life left. This is a real GO logging truck, not one of the light weight Widco units.

The best ad rag in the oilpatch is the Oiltizer; a subscription is a must.
Next best is Tradequip International published by TAP in Crossville, Tennessee, the same folks who produce Rock & Dirt. Unfortunately, the classified section has been shrinking dramatically.
