Another Found Mystery Tool

This tool was found in a lot of junk pipe in Mexico.  The tool is about 17.3 feet long and the main body of the tool is 3-5/8 inches in diameter.  The number partially visible in one of the above photographs is .8.82.915.IRS.WA.  These photographs were sent to us by the present owner hoping to discover just exactly what he has.

The consensus on the Wireline Reflector Mailing List is that this is a Schlumberger dual induction tool.  It is believed the "IRS" mnemonic stands for Induction Resistivity Sonde.  How this tool wound up inside a piece of junk pipe remains a mystery.
